Embark on a unique and exciting hike in one of Costa Rica’s most iconic natural parks. This tour takes you to explore the majestic Arenal Volcano, where you’ll discover breathtaking landscapes and learn about the region’s geological history and biodiversity.

Your day begins with pick-up at 7:30 a.m. from your accommodation in La Fortuna, where you’ll be comfortably transported to the Arenal Volcano Ecological Park. Once there, your expert guide will lead you through the park’s various trails, offering spectacular views of the volcano and its surroundings.

During the hike, you’ll enjoy a journey that unveils the local flora and fauna, as well as insights into the volcanic activity that has shaped this area. The trail takes you close to ancient lava flows, rocky formations, and lush tropical forests.

The difficulty level is moderate, making this hike accessible for beginners as well as those with some hiking experience. Along the way, your guide will provide detailed information about the volcano’s geology and the local biodiversity, while you take in panoramic views of Arenal Volcano, Lake Arenal, and the surrounding mountains.

The hike lasts approximately 2 to 3 hours, and you’ll return to La Fortuna around midday.
