Description
Starting from La Fortuna downtown at 10:20 am, embark on a guided adventure to the base of the iconic Arenal Volcano. Enjoy scenic rainforest trails, visit historic lava flows from 1525, 1968, and 2010, and learn about the area’s rich biodiversity. The hike includes two hours up to the volcano base and one hour descending to the picturesque green lagoon, a pristine volcanic formation. Afterward, savor a traditional lunch and relax in the natural hot springs of the Tabacón River. The tour concludes in La Fortuna around 4:00 pm. Duration: 7 hours.
What to Bring: Comfortable hiking clothes, closed shoes, rain jacket, towel, and swimsuit.
