Arenal Volcano hike, Mistico and hot river tour

Overview

The Arenal Volcano hike, Mistico and hot river tour is a 7-hour day that leaves at 7:00 a.m. You hike at the foot of Arenal Volcano across old lava flows, eat a traditional Costa Rican lunch, walk the hanging bridges of Mistico Park and end in a hot river with a volcanic mud mask. Entrance fees, a bilingual guide and round-trip transport are included. It costs $119 per adult and $77 per child, VAT not included.

It joins our volcano hike and the Mistico Hanging Bridges in one day. Your guide carries a spotting scope to help you find wildlife; bring a swimsuit and a towel for the hot river.

Itinerary

1. 7:00 a.m.Pickup at your hotel in the La Fortuna area
2. Guided hike at the foot of Arenal Volcano across old lava flows

4. Guided walk on the trails and hanging bridges of Mistico Park
5. Soak in a hot river with a volcanic mud mask
6. Return to La Fortuna, about 7 hours after pickup

Cancellation policy

Cancel at least 24 hours before the tour for a 100% refund; with less notice, the full price is charged. Date changes made at least 24 hours ahead have no fee, subject to availability. If we cancel for weather or safety, you choose between rescheduling and a 100% refund. Pickup waits up to 10 minutes and, at the meeting point, please arrive 15 minutes early; a missed tour counts as a no-show without a refund.
